HARDWARE

-
Here I publish a poster about the hardware of a computer, which includes its components, both, the external or peripheral and the internal ones that are located in the computer tower that also contains the motherboard and all its parts.

To do it, I used Microsoft Office Work and to convert the image into another format (JPG) to paste it here I also used the image editor Paint.
Some difficulties while doing the poster, were to paste the screenshot in the blog, to place the background so that all the other elements above it stand out, as well as the organization of the space, all the photos and the summarized information of the poster so that it could be understood.

Vocabulary Activity

I'm going to tell you about an activity I have done in which first you have to place the cursor over an image to hear its name and learn some vocabulary about: Electronic devices such as the the laptop which includes the trackpad and the power button and the computer which has the monitor. Internal peripherals such as the hard drive, flash drive, USB and the external periferics such as the screen, printer, keyboard with all the keys (escape, tab caps lock, shift, control, alt, backspace...) and the mouse with the right and left buttons. Ethernet and USB cables  The motherboard and some of its components like the memory,  CPU and chip among others. Once you have learn this useful vocabulary you can try two different challenges, the speaking and the listening one. I have obtained better results in the listening challenge in which you have to place the cursor over the image that belongs to the word you have listened to, but however I prefer the speaking one, in which...

Here I post the first 8 questions about how PCs work, including the definition, characteristics and different parts of a PC as well as the main components such as ports, slots,  memories, connectors ... that the motherboard contains, with some images so it's easier to identify them, among other information. 1. Why they say "the human brain is a sophisticated computer"? They say the human brain is a sophisticated computer because both of them receive instructions, carry out them quickly and have the capacity to remember that given information for a period of time. 2. A computer is an electronic device containing: A microprocessor.  3. A microprocessor is capable of carrying out: Complex calculations in the blink of an eye. 4.     Write the characteristics of a PC: It's designed for use by one person at a time. Ir runs an operating system to interface between the user and the microprocessor. It has certain common internal components described in h...
